About

My name is Dan Tunstall, I was born profoundly deaf. Tennis has provided an amazing journey for me, from developing skills and confidence as a younger person to traveling the world competing for Great Britain Deaf Tennis making life long friendships along the way.

I would love for others to benefit from similar opportunities and this is the motivation behind Blue Sky Tennis Foundation. The Blue Sky Tennis Foundation is a non-profit community interest company (CIC). All the profits generated from our activities are reinvested back into the community to support disability tennis projects.

My tennis experience includes:

  • 20-plus years as a professional tennis coach
  • Ex-member of the National Deaf Tennis Squad - 20 years
  • Multiple National Deaf Tennis Champion
  • Two times Deaflympics bronze medalist - Mixed Doubles
  • Former Scotland Junior National training squad
  • Scottish Disability Player of the Year award
